Chocolate Christmas Cookies
Chocolate Xmas Cookies
1/2 cup shortening or margarine 1 1/4 cups sugar 2 eggs 2 tsps cinnamon 2 cups flour 1 1/2 tsps baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/4 tsp salt 12 tbsps baking cocoa
Cream sugar, margarine and eggs. Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl and gradually add to creamed mixture. Drop on ungreased sheet. Bake 350 deegree for 7-10 minutes.
Christmas Chocolate Chip Softies
1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking soda 3 1/4 cups flour 12 oz pkg. Chocolate chips 2 tablespoon water 1/2 cup sugar 1 cup brown sugar 1 cup margarine 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla
Cream margarine, sugars and eggs together. Beat in water and vanilla. Combine and stir in flour, salt and baking powder. Stir in chips. Drop by spoonfuls onto baking sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
Black Forest Pie
3/4 cup heavy cream 3 tablespoons butter One 6 oz ready-made chocolate cookie crumb pie crust 1 can cherry pie filling 1/4 cup strong coffee 1 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
Combine cream, butter, coffee, and chips in a bowl and melt using low heat over a double boiler or in the microwave. Pour into pie crust. Refrigerate for about 2 hours. Pour cherry pie filling over the chocolate layer and refrigerate for an additional 2 hours. May garnish with whipped cream before serving.
Christmas Chocolate Crinkle Cookies
1/2 cup vegetable oil 1/2 tsp salt 4 eggs 2 cups flour 2 tsps baking powder 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted 2 tsps vanilla 1 cup powdered sugar 2 cups sugar
Mix sugar, chocolate, oil and blend in eggs. Add baking powder, flour, salt, and vanilla, . Cover and chill several hours or overnight. Preheat oven to 350° deegree and grease your cookie sheets. Roll 1 tbsp dough into a ball and roll around in powdered sugar to coat. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake for 11-12 minutes. Remove from baking sheet and cool.
No-Bake Chocolate Cookies
2 1/2 cups oatmeal 1/4 cup butter (1/2 stick) 1/4 cup coconut 2 cups sugar 1/2 cup milk 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 heaping tablespoon peanut butter Pinch of salt 1/4 cup cocoa
Bring the butter, milk, cocoa, salt, and sugar to a boil; cook for 1 minute. Stir in vanilla, coconu, peanut butter, and oatmealt. Cool slightly. Drop from a teaspoon onto waxed paper and let cool.
Xmas Chocolate Drop Cookies
1 tsp vanilla 2 cups white sugar 3 cups rolled oats 1/4 cup cocoa powder 1 cup coconut 1/2 cup margarine 1/2 cup milk
Bring cocoa, milk, vanilla, margarine, sugar to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in coconut and rolled oats. Using a tblsp, drop mounds on a cookie sheet. Rerigerate right away to harden.
